I don't know how well Jobs and Amelio will work together. I'm not a Job's watcher, but I don't beleive he worked well with anyone before, so why expect it now. Jobs is the past; Amelio is the present; Where is the future? To me, the future is in the creative talents of Apple's employees. Recent management actions do not indicate they understand this. Jobs had his "time in the sun". He has not shone much since then. That shows he is not in touch with what is required in this era. Apple needs the visionary that Jobs once was. What can Apple offer to the future market? Another platform for WinTel? We have enough. Elitist technology for a multi-media future? Perhaps. Is this a area already ahead of Apple? I don't hear an answer from Apple. I hear the "glorious past" from Apple devotees. What about the future??
