<<Hello Sector, Can I please ask where you see MRVC in 6 and 12 months.>>
Talk about putting me out on a limb! It depends on whether a decent alliance or significant contract is announced. EPS should be moving back up so the stock should reach a higher trading range on it's own by then. But it also carries a lot of baggage with the street, which will take time to heal. They are also poor at marketing (getting better slowly). Also, this company is secretive by nature (actually a good trait with all the big boys around), so even if they get contracts, they may not announce them.
Guesses
6 months, no alliance or contract announced $11-$15 6 months, good alliance or contract announced $15-$19+ 12 months, no alliance or contract announced $15-$18 12 months, with alliance or contract $18- who knows?
This stock won't ever have a PE anywhere near CSCO's, so they have to get back to steady growth each quarter to move up and stay there.
<<Is it a keeper or a trader.>>
Both, of course. It's not about to do what ASND did in 9 months - more like 2 years. Still $35+ in 2 years is possible, even probable IF they do their job getting alliances and contracts. The markets for their Optical Networking products, Carrier class router and Metro networking is HUGE, and their products will be good enough to capture a decent chunk. There will be LOTS of cycles in between though. |
