Excellent point. I believe soundview used financial concerns as a reason for their slight downgrade. Merrill used it as a reason for their reiteration of a buy. Most of the short bear cases are in regards to financial shenanigans now "proving " to be true. As a matter of fact I cant remember 1 single comment or article about the company that has not referenced this SEC letter issue as either cautionary or a speed bump on the way gorilla narvana since the SEC letter was first mentioned. The stock has dropped in almost a straight line since Joanna's stupid brokerage company sold out her stock ;-). You have another reason for this particular drop?

Actually I'm more in your boat as far as a fundemental view of their financials. I have chosen to believe that this letter is a short term problem, I've ignored most of your concerns regarding the "True" financial picture sin mergers. I have focused on what I believe will become a bigger industry of security services. The pie should get bigger especially when ERP portal companies start accessing internal data on the web, intranet etc. Everyones comments of software suitability and your particular interest on the TRUE fundamentals has helped me create a good core position and at the same time let me trade stock from time to time. I truly appreicate your input. Finally its still a good time to make a decision either way. Cant think of one reason not to short it, buy it or go long real estate. Just do It!
