Ok....I think however I setup now will be adjusted later. PM seems to take off the pressure to have to get it right in the beginning.

Most of the time. Sometimes it seems like it will do anything for you. It will not convert NTFS to FAT among other things.

Playing around a little will give you a good feel for what it can and cannot do. The manual is good background material. Using the program is a good way to learn IMO. It is easier to experiment with v4.0. You can setup what you want to do and if you do not hit Apply it won't happen (hopefully<g>).

It does make things seem rather easy. Without a basic understanding one can do a lot of damage. For example you do not want to delete the wrong partition. Or if you take the Active designation off your primary drive the machine will not boot (unless you have another drive<g>). You would be able to fix some things with a boot from NT and an execution of PM from NT. For example you could set active a partition.
