What it says to me, though, is that perhaps TCI's motivation for investing $5 million in the company wasn't solely because it felt ACTV had good stock appreciation potential, like everyone on these boards has been suggesting. This real estate deal suggests that they (unlike the rest of us) were getting more than just stock when they invested in ACTV. Why did they only invest $5 million in ACTV? Maybe that's all it took to get ACTV to sign the lease. I'd love to know the annual rent on this place.
