Bengalus: up until now your posts had a semblace of sense. Let's go point by point:
1.<<Zincum Gluconicum>> This is zinc gluconate, the same material in cold-eze. This is how it is written in homeopathic formularies and this is how the lawyers decided it had to be written on the package to make sure it did not have to pass stricter FDA guidelines.
2.<<Lozenge vs. nose spray, I go for the lozenge>> Go for it,smart boy. Get a drug that is less concentrated and make it go through your bloodstream instead of applying it to the site of action, where it is actually more concentrated because it did not have to be absorbed somewhere else and moved to the site of action. Very smart. You get what you pay for.
3.<<About one bag of Cold-Eeze per cold. How long does one vial of Zicam last? Cold sufferers, please let us know.>> Read the box, man. Do some DD. Each spray bottle of Zicam (it is not a vial, dude) has 120 metered doses. The directions say take every 2-4 hours. It is easier to read those instead of looking for patent searches under new tradenames. At the VERY least, Zicam will last through 2 colds, and I am being conservative. So, your price comparisons are immaterial. You want the lozenges? Take them. They don't work at the site of action; that's why you need a whole bag. That's not to mention the aftertaste or what it does to you breath, which I am sure you do not care about.
  4. Now let's talk about dental gums. See that last sentence above.
  5. There are comparisons to be made to Quigley's-how about they sold about $65,000,000 their first year? GumTech already has the distribution channels. Go to www.zicam.com to read about them.
  6. <<Depending upon how long it takes until there's another Zicam press release, $7 or less seems possible near-term. >> Press releases aren't going to sell Zicam as much as personal experience and we have seen some relayed here, including someone here on the boards (not I) who uses his name and is not so afraid to hide behind the anonymity of an e-mail with no other information. GUMM will fall in the short term, indeed, if people listen to the drivel of shorters or would-be shorter like yourself who appear to knock themselves out doing DD but can't get through the directions on the box. |
