WMS Gaming Places 500 Reel-Spinning Units With Ontario Lottery Corporation; Largest Reel-Spinning Sales Order for Company to Date
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1999--WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE:WMS), announced today that it has received an order for 500 of its reel-spinning gaming devices from the Ontario Lottery Corporation. The order represents the largest single purchase of reel-spinning slot machines in WMS history. The machines will be used in Ontario's horse racing track and charity casino initiatives. The mix of games will include Big Bang Piggy Bankin', Mermaid's Gold, Magic Lamp, Pharaoh's Fortune and Winning Streak.
