Well, when you're dual booting you don't have a real choice.
Back up 1, back up both.

Anyhow, though my cost analysis has so far come down against
it for me,
you want to figure your own costs for the backup-of-backup
decision. Do you REALLY want to go through all this again
any time soon? How hard would it be for YOU to reinstall
Win 98? (Not me, you. Different answers, I expect.)
