To All, I am buying my first third of puts on a fluff stock called Xilinx. Xilinx had mighty earnings growth last year in the pre-pubescent range, most of it coming in the 4th quarter Xmas lies period. But, with 12% growth, and growth will be much lower this year. The stock sells at 52 times eps because: 1. They are going to split the stock. 2. Their shareholders are dumb enough to think every month has a Xmas in it. <G> 3. Big receivable scamarama. 4. "Where else can we put our money except in bloated pigs?"

That being said, Xilinx makes some nice products and is well-respected by their customers. Like Atmel, it is a good little niche co. that happens to trade like it is a great growth co. The only thing missing is the growth. Ain't happening; ain't gonna happen. At $15, it would be a dandy value stock. But, at $83, it is a joke.
