Well, when you're dual booting you don't have a real choice.
Back up 1, back up both.


For me (further qualified), at the moment, I would like to have a backup copy of w98. I do not want two backups of NT.

To achieve the above, why not have w98 and the backup NT in two separate partitions. That wouldn't be a dual booting setup but does that matter? The objective here is to get a copy of NT onto another drive...no?
