Republican abuse # 999:

The Republican Party used it's majority power to impeach an American President without calling witnesses, in the House trials.

Why didn't they have a fair hearing before taking such an extreme action, such as overturning the election of the President? It was because they had majority power and they felt that the House of Representative's integrity didn't matter any more. They also felt that the public didn't matter any more. The only thing that mattered was their narrow minded goal to wrest power from the President in some kind of perverted Republican game.

Now in the Senate, they don't have "impeachment" majority power so they can't abuse and demean their Senate power by throwing an elected President out of office. So, what do these thugs try to do:

They are now trying to use and abuse their majority power in the Senate to "convict" the President of crimes without a fair trial. They want to have a "finding of FACT". FACT??? They mean, a finding of "their" fact.

What a bunch of scoundrels!

<< "Election of the Millennium between the American People and the Republican Party!">> Hail to the chief; dependency is a wonderful, wonderful thing, eh bonzo. >>

Hey brees. How nice it is of you to answer one of my notes! But, you miss the point. The election in 2000 has nothing to do with the chief. It has to do with trust! We need to find out if the general public will trust the Republican Party with majority power again in 2001. They shouldn't and, IMHO, they won't!

2000 is going to be a very interesting election year!
