Quotron Plus 5.0
Well, its been a bit long waiting for Quotron's latest version, but we just got it in here, and to be quite honest, its awsome. We use a lan-based system (feeding a direct T1 to them) yet I believe they have an internet based version coming up. Infact, they have told me they have an internet based version coming up.
The software is fast, entirely customizable and is probably the best application I have had for viewing market action in the most demanding environment.
Unlike many of the realtick software applications, which I have always felt to be somewhat off in their color schemes, and layouts , the Quotron package is righton the money.
There are some excellent screens, including the prevalent dynamic and/or historical time/sales, extensive charting ( i think they bought metachart), excellent nasdaq level twos with L2 summars for watching upto 25 level 2 screens in table format (probably the systems best feature).
The alerts are ok, nothing special but ok. The color coding and way the system works the changes in the stock, the bid, lasts, etc. is excellent. This was always something I thought the original quotron AE dominated.
Anyway, for internet traders looking for a good quote system, check out the Quotron Plus. From my perspective, it looks likeone of the best around. I dont know if they have released their internet version, but i know they were headed that way.
