A couple of points here - the other companies have had the same problems in the past, and probably will in the future (E*Trade too), so it access is your issue, moving your account will not solve anything. If price is the most important issue, definitely move your account. I do all my short-term trading on Datek ($9.99 per trade), but I don't like it for long-term buy and hold. It doesn't have enough account information on-line for my tastes. That's when I use E*Trade.

If you are intent on moving your account, and you want lower fees but still want the bells and whistles, look at Waterhouse. They charge $12/trade (market or limit, with some minor limitations on the type of orders you can place), and have a reasonable level of account information on line.
