I use Brown & Co. also. Generally no problems, except when the market is real busy/fast. Then it slows down but so do most others I think. Also Its pretty slow the 1st 1/2 hour of the market. Overall, market trades usually executed almost immediately and confirmation just as fast. And at $5.00/trade ($10 for limit trades) who can beat the price!
