Joe- Many of the points you make are good ones. I wish you would adress my main criticism however which is - "once the analyst community gives the market the idea that the quarter is likely to be missed, doesn't the company have an obligations to comment, yes, no, we don't know yet so analyst can't either, rather than sitting there and letting street assume the worst and punish stock mercilessly." I would be happy for company to say "Anaylst can't know how quarter will come out cause we don't yet." It is the silence that is once again killing this stock because street assumes given past history of 3com that it has leaked information, again.
