Off topic (ish) - Are there any other UK-based WAVE-ers around - Deano Ferrari ? Paul Schmidt ?
We have a bunch of friends & colleagues here in the UK who have caught the WAVE at various points over the past year or so, and some time ago we promised ourselves a little celebration when the stock reached $10.
So, below you'll find the text of an email sent by my esteemed colleague Merv (who has a particular style of humour) which gives the details of the innaugural meeting of the WILC (Wave Investors Lunch Club - UK branch), to which you are cordially invited.
There are about a dozen of us signed up so far.
Regards to all on the board. Twoveg ____________________________________
Gentlemen, with WAVX currently standing at $11.25, having peaked yesterday at $12, I think the time has come for the inaugural meeting of the Wave Investors Lunch Club (W.I.L.C.) Good idea? - Of course it is, but when and where. Having checked most people's availability we have two options, either Friday 19th Feb or Friday 26th Feb. The venue will be at The Canyon Restaurant & Bar in Richmond. The Canyon comes well recommended by one of our members with a known disposition for the good things in life and a track record of spending really rather large amounts of money tracking them down and indulging thereof.
The principal objective of the meeting will be to spend as much money as possible on Champagne, vintage wines, Havana cigars, top notch grub etc.
Another item we might well wish to add to the agenda under the heading - Totty, will be enthusiastically considered for inclusion although not generally available through our hosts for the day - the staff and management of sed Canyon.
Other items of importance for the day.
- Ridiculing friends, colleaugues etc who could have ridden the Wave but did'nt have the bottle. - Taking the piss out of those who did buy but sold early. - Generally talking bollocks and feeling unbelievably smug. - Deciding the criterion to trigger the next W.I.L.C. event. - AOB
Please reply ASAP so the venue can be booked.
