Today's news release may not have appeared all that significant on the surface (especially to dyed in the wool believers who were expecting as much), but as an ex-researcher who has been involved in scaling up processes from the lab to the field, I think it has tremendous significance (although the marketplace may not recognize it).

Going from 150 gm to 22 kg is a scaleup factor of 150 times. To accomplish this scaleup without loss of process efficiency, and to do it on schedule with all the potential choices in process variables, is quite an accomplishment. The company was very modest and downplayed it in their announcement but they are "over the hill", IMO. Going from 22 kg to 500 kg is only a scaleup factor of another 23 and should be accomplished (relatively) easily, again IMHO.

Congratulations to IPMC, you done well !!
