Dear Joe, I've been quiet because its getting harder to be diplomatic

Notice I tried real hard with my last post.
Keep trying folks and someday Novell might catch up with MSFT 101.

Hey what do you do if you know your Siamese twin has cancer?
Hope that it doesn't spread.

Today Novell finished at 11 7/8. It has suspended its earnings run-up and appears to be following the market on disinterested volume. Looks to me like we might get 14 to 15 out of a good earnings report at this rate. There is still two weeks past the Fed.

Salah appears to believe a bad earnings report would be ignored by the street. Well the world needs optimists. Right?
Salah also appears to believe that if we get good earnings in Q1, we need to wait another quarter to get two straight good reports to see the stock rise to $20 a share.
A variation on this later theme is "by the end of the year".

I don't know if I am miscommunicating Salah's thoughts but as for this puppy, he is outta here after Q1 in the good earnings scenario.

Unfortunately Joe, Troop may be the rule not the exception at Novell.
Here's hopin for good earnings.
