I bought CCR in Feb of '97 and it is up about 92% from then. This is not a criticism, but I think Dessauer's investment strategy does not translate well for people who have a fairly short term horizon, Wren. I would guess that both CCR and FTU will be great stocks to hold in portfolio over a five or ten period, which is what I look for in a stock.

Like Daniel, I have also made a bundle in STD, although there were times when the stock made me nervous. On the other hand, I am hanging on to ESF based on Dessauer's analysis of its underlying strength and his assessment that it is a potential takeover candidate in post Euro Europe. So far, it is about right where I bought it about 18 months ago. We shall see.
