BAAT scam 99. Who's million dollars is it anyway? BAT "sold" 17% of a subsidiary Southern States Power Company (SSPC) last year for $1,000,000. The first ever annual report had BAT $17,000 in the hole. They miraculaously were up to +$1,000,000 on the first (and final) quarterly report. Bat hasn't filed another quarterly report since March 1998 (although thread messages attributed to Joe LaStella claim they are fully reporting).

SSPC has been reporting though. They have asssets of $1,000,000 that they have been reporting since June 98. They also just went public at $3.50 a share with 10,000,000 shares issued and 40,000,000 left to go.

Bat has 79,000,000 issued on 80,000,000 authorized and trades at <$0.50. Although Bat only sold 17% of SSPC they currently only own 49% and are rapidly on the way to owning only 10%.
