They used to say that 99 thing in law school all the time. I must admit I have very little regard for the lives of humans who prey on other humans in violent ways. I have no problem at all with people who steal only property or money, or who engage in so called "victimless crimes" (although lawlessness and a lawless lifestyle can create a climate of violence because ordinary civil remedies are not available to redress wrongs in a lawless subculture.) SO while I would like to fry all violent criminals, I would like to see a lot more done to rehabilitate non- violent criminals and I think it is COMPLETELY insane to lock them up with violent predators. This just boggles my mind.
