Media Advisory - Government of Canada Invests in Improved Refuelling System for
Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Powered Vehicles

VANCOUVER, February 4 /CNW/ - On February 8, 1999, Natural Resources
Minister Ralph Goodale will announce a major Technology Partnerships
Canada/Climate Change Action Fund investment by the Government of Canada with
Stuart Energy Systems Inc. of Etobicoke, Ontario at the 9th Canadian Hydrogen
Conference. The investment will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve
Canada's environment and create jobs.
Executives from Stuart Energy Systems, Ballard Power Systems and BC
Transit will be present at the announcement.
Later in the day, Stuart Energy Systems' new Electrolytic Hydrogen
Fuelling Station in Port Coquitlam, B.C. will be officially opened. The
Station opening will be at 2:30 p.m. at the BC Transit Bus Depot Site on 2061
Kingsway and is also open to the media.
