Re: "Elmer.
Way under $50?
Let's make it multiple guess.
1. Cost/chip...
a. ($46-50)
b. (41-45)
c. (36-40)
d. (30-35)

2. Yields...before speed binning.
a. 90%-100
b. 80-89
c. 70-79
d. 60-69
e. 50-59
"

Is there some reason you didn't include an "f" for #1?

As for #2, such yield descriptions are meaningless. For very large die 50% could be excellent yield while for a very small die 90% could be quite poor. You should be asking the ISO # the process is running at. That number will tell you more than yield %. At any rate I cannot comment further out of respect for my source. I have agreed not to post this information and I must respect that agreement. Accept what I have posted or reject it. It's your choice. Either way it's not that big a deal.
