<How is Intel going to produce increased earnings while they proceed with their scorched earth campaign against their competitors?>

Weren't we all wondering this as we saw the Celeron 300A and 333 drop in price like a rock? It sure hasn't hurt those Pentium II sales over Christmas, has it? Meanwhile, Intel decides to push up Celeron's clock speeds to be closer to the top clock speed for Pentium. It's not like Intel to just quickly make a decision like that without some, er, "Constructive Confrontation" from people who share the same fears you do. Don't you think that Intel already factored in the effects of Celeron on Pentium II/III sales? And unlike Jerry "We'll be back in a moment" Sanders, Intel is usually conservative with their predictions.
