Dear Mr. Logic: "Some remediation stuff still after that I guess - but that's not really what TAVA does "

Ah, but in fact they do Remediation. Its all a matter of timing. First comes identification of the problem--called Assessment phase THEN comes Remediation. In fact, JJ has reported that for now they are only doing triage. ie that necessary to keep the plants running. Afterwards they will complete the work. Its been estimated in the past that remediation and associated work will total 6-8 TIMES in Revenue the initially recorded backlog for the Assessment phase. Thus, considering the non triage work will be done POST 2,000 I would imagin that there will be a significant Y2K contribution to Revenue well beyond 12/31/2000. In addition, it would not surprise me in the least (though I have not seen this publicly stated) that during the post remediation phase they actually will implement their ERP in connecting the front office (accounting and purchasing) direct to the factory floor. Thus, we may never know it as y2k Remediation but rather as CORE business.
I like your "insurance idea" why do you not send it to JJ himself? You can get the mailing address at the companies web site or if you prefer the email address is: info@tavatech.com

Regarding the data base, I only recall that JJ mentioned they could use it post 2,000 in the Red Chip Conference a few days ago. Perhaps someone else on the thread can elaborate on that. Karl? JDN
