I seriously doubt that rumor is true

such a 1-IPO for 5-Parent stock offering would only occur if the Parent was a dog of a stock, and they felt a need to reward shareholders for their loyalty by giving them a piece of the IPO. While NAVR was a dog before this IPO speculation hit last summer, it's stock price has certainly made up for it since then, and there is no need to reward shareholders. The only sentiment I can think of to justify this, is if you consider the $4 million per quarter NAVR was sinking into NetRadio, without showing any asset value for NetRadio on their books. It's possible, yet highly improbable, that they feel a need to make up for this shortcoming to shareholders in some meaningful way. But considering NAVR should be trading in the 30's into the IPO release, it's doubtful that anyone will feel the need to reward shareholders anymore than they already will enjoy. (unless they offer this 1:5 value to shareholders of record BEFORE this past summer when this stock WAS a dog; that would make more sense, but it certainly would not help 99% of the bench warmers here)
