Bill, I think the point is that the best firewall and security available is the one sitting right between your ears. If you have the option to click on a link, then you are making an active choice to go to that place and you will live with the consequences. If you click on a link that should take you to an SI page and it directs you somewhere else that you didn't want to go, then your choice (and your best security) has just been eliminated.

That's all they were trying to get across (I think).
