OTOT Dear JDN:

No I am an Independent and I didn't vote for President Clinton. But impeachment is a vehicle for doing what is best for the country. It was never intended as a vehicle for punishment.

I think Ken Star did what he had to do. He did his job. Paula Jones I think was vindicated, and I don't think anyone will call her a liar again.

But there are also privacy issues at stake. Take Monica L. for instance. She committed no crime. Yet she was forced under duress of 25 year prison sentence to reveal every last detail of her LEGAL and consensual relationship. Then they took all those details and put them on the internet for her Mother, Father, friends and future children to read. It is only human nature, at some point you have a right to protect yourself from government intrusion.
