Just speculating..... but I would guess with two sidetracks and all the casing they had to run, the wellbore is too small for an adequate downhole pump. I will say however, that the silence in this regard is deafening. That might mean there is a surprise in store for us.
Then again, it may not mean beans.
This is just what we call a geological success, but an economic failure.
