Is Dick Brown sweeping the streets clean? If you were a new CEO and you came on board just after the close of the quarter but you had a commanding say on what to report for that quarter's performance, would you take all the charges you could get away with including $200 million for a contract dispute? You bet you would and it looks like that's what happened. I hope the analysts see it the same way. They are so tired of surprises. Dick Brown is now on the hot seat and it now counts against his record.
