red, they check the core with a scintillometer....unfortunately scintillometers don't react to graphite....only to uranium, thorium, potasium and background radiation from space....if there was anything radioactive in the core over significant widths, the stock would have had a big move by now....if you are in, get out before AJ - Shaun Spelliscy does, if he hasn't already blown his paper off. teevee
