Good Afternoon Dorine and All

WE MAY BE OUR WORST ENEMY

One of the major brokerage houses which I will not mention informed me that they read our messages here at Silicon Investors to get a feeling what people around the world are thinking at any given period of time on a stock. I thought that only a few people here at SI really did not make much a difference to anyone else but I should have know better. We really have to be careful what we say here because our words can be used to fix the game. I also hope that the media will not put Dell into a bad light. Who knows what the analyst and the media does with any information they get from us?? I find that many times when we are trying to estimate the market that too often the opposite happens which is more then just coincidental. I think that we are given the big boys a peak at our cards which gives them the upper hand. They use every sneaky trick to jar our confidence and stir emotions to make trades and generate commissions.

We were all expecting a sizable run up on Dell prior to earnings and by all conditions this morning today looked like it was going to be a great day. The markets were ok in Europe and the S+P futures were up strong on the Nasdaq and the Dow until just before the bell. Then all hell broke loose. What happened today is just plain bullshit .The Nasdaq dropping by one of the largest point day's in its history is very suspect to say the least. What better way to cause a down turn then for one house to say they are raising their cash allocation followed by another down grading Intel? What you have is the setup for one of the largest sell debacle leaving blood on the keyboards and everybody is left stunned.

I am going to be more careful to offer any of my humble opinions publicly not that my opinion really matters anyway. But all of our thoughts which we share here in open forum is like opening our wallets for pick pocketing. I am resigning from this point forward not to give my opinion publicly anymore about DELL, INTEL, CSCO, MSFT OR AOL. If the market is going to be damned then let those manipulating bastard do it without our help or expense. I wish you all well but I think we need to really think about how far our comments go and who may be reading our thoughts. Some people are day traders and that is one thing but for the long term investors we need not to aggravate ourselves by giving any comments which may be ammunition to cause detriment to our investment portfolio. Yes declines and volatility is part of the game but we do not have to assist in exacerbating these events. Am I paranoid?? Maybe!! Today was a real bad day and maybe after all is said and done it will not really matter.

Something to Think About!!!

Best Wishes
Frank
