So what. The zip200 is also not a 'might', and it is also faster than the 128 which you refer to as being 20ms. Zip200 beats it by 3ms at 17ms. I do not recall transfer rates, but so what if a competitor has something in the works which compares poorly with something which Iomega has in the works.

I don't see the consumer losing this one.

You have a really strange bias. Perhaps you can explain it to me? It does not seem to be based on the performance of the drive, but on some emotional point of view.
