After the reverse acquisition, they will raise more funds to bring the company across Canada and the U.S.

This is also why the stock rose from $1.75 to $3.50 recently. The acquisition has been approved. Now their plan goes into action !!!

UPDATE

Vancouver, B.C., January 29, 1999 -- FVC First Venture Capital Corp. (the Company) advises that at its January 12th Special Meeting of shareholders, the Company received approval of shareholders to the acquisition of the outstanding shares of Lasik Vision, changing the Companys name, and the implementation of a stock option plan granting a further aggregate of 3,000,000 incentive stock options.

The Company is ready to complete its brokered private placement of 1,100,000 special warrants at a price of $0.50, subject to the completion of the acquisition.

To fund Lasik Visions future Canadian expansion plans, the Company is actively seeking future financings either by way of bridge loans and/or the issuance of convertible debentures after the acquisition is complete.

The Company is unaware of the reasons for the recent increase in the price of the Companys
shares.
