Prevue Networks' Lawsuit with Gemstar Transferred to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- United Video Satellite Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: UVSGA)announced today that on February 2, 1999, Judge Ronald M. Whyte of the United States Federal District Court for the Northern District of California, San Jose, granted Prevue Networks, Inc.'s Motion to Transfer the action for alleged patent infringement brought against Prevue Networks and TCI Communications, Inc. by Gemstar Development Corporation, StarSight Telecast, Inc., and
SuperGuide Corporation, to the United States Federal District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. Prevue Networks, Prevue Interactive, Inc. and United Video Satellite Group, Inc. are
currently engaged in patent litigation with StarSight Telecast in the Northern District of Oklahoma. A trial concerning the validity, enforceability and infringement of a StarSight patent already has
been held in that Court and the parties are awaiting the decision of the Court. More.....................
