I know that MMs read SI and other boards to steal money from the investor on penny stocks, but it would surprise me if they could orchestrate a move on a stock like AOL that trades 15M shares on the big board. But I do see evidence of orchestration in program selling. Tuesday at 3:00 PM a sell program kicked in, and tech stocks both on the NYSE and NAZ began tanking right at that time. Today the same thing happened, but it started at 2:30 PM. I have heard that these sell programs use indicators such as S&P future activities and advance/decline ratios to determine when to kick in, but maybe they also use the SI posting mood :-)
