MIAMI, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Omega Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMGA - news) announced that its next generation of premium products, TradeStation 2000i, OptionStation 2000i, Omega Research ProSuite 2000i--Standard Edition and Omega Research ProSuite 2000i--Platinum Edition, which includes the Company's brand new RadarScreen(TM) 2000i product, were released to manufacturing today. The manuals for the new products are scheduled to be released to the printer next week. The Company remains on track to officially launch the new products on February 22. As previously announced, orders for the new products are expected to be taken starting at that time. Because the Company expects to receive a significant volume of upgrade orders from existing customers, as well as increased demand for the new products generally, the Company intends to control the roll-out of the new products in a manner designed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Omega Research's next generation of products is expected, upon release, to be compatible with the following real-time Internet and broadcast data services: Data Broadcasting Corporation's (Nasdaq: DBCC - news) Signal Online (Internet), StockEdge Online (Internet), InSite (Internet), DBC Signal (Broadcast) and BMI (Broadcast); Data Transmission Network Corporation's (Nasdaq: DTLN - news) DTN Real Time and DTNstant (Broadcast); and PC Quote, Inc.'s (Amex: PQT - news) Hyperfeed(TM) (Internet and Broadcast). An agreement is also in place to add, later this year, as a compatible real-time data service, Standard & Poor's ComStock's Xpressfeed(TM). |
