I think you are talking about Window NT 4.0. Do you know that Microsoft practically ripping off its customer by totally changing Window Nt 3.51 that has the feel and look of Window 3.1 to the feel and look of the Window 95? In doing so, it now want hundreds of dollars for the upgrade. Worst than this, it does not even support PNP (Plug and Play). Try to install a PNP hardware with Nt and you will know what I am talking about. At least Apple has the decency to make sure that its OS is totally backward compatible unlike windows 3.1, NT 3.51, ... and now NT 4.0.
