Novell Seeking To Sell Additional 1M Corel Corp

(NewsTraders.com)-- Novell Inc. (NOVL) is registering an additional 1 million shares of Corel Corp. (COSFF) common stock for sale, according to a Form 144 released late yesterday by the SEC.
Novell, which said the shares have a market value of about $4 million, listed Jan. 25 as the approximate date of sale, and named BT Alex Brown as broker.
With this registration, and with Novell's previous registrations of 1 million shares and 351,000 shares on Feb. 2, Novell has now filed this week to sell a total of 2,351,000 shares of Corel common stock.
Corel has about 59.4 million common shares outstanding, according to the filings.
