Hi, all. I'm new. I hold both CKFR and a Canadian e-commerce company called BCE Emergis (IFM on TSE. Used to be called Mpact Immedia). Anyway, I don't know if anyone else noticed but IFM won a huge contract for a "bill presentment project" which involves a consortium of all the major Canadian banks and financial institutions to provide for bill payment over the internet for both individuals and businesses. The details are on the company's website at www.bceemergis.com. the stock just shot up by about $8C the last few days. The reason I mention it is that emergis is profitable, it is a spin-off from the giant BCE (Bell Canada) which still holds a major chunk of it, and which has provided a major cash injection to assist emergis in its goal of making a major US acquisition. It occured to me that this could be a marriage made in cyber heaven. and I am all dressed up for the wedding. any thoughts?
