Saw some interesting stuff on internet trading:
Bill Burnham, of Credit Suisse First Boston, says online brokerages grew: 34% growth trade volume for 4th quarter of 98,
35-50% growth in January.

The SEC says online trades account for 25% of all retail trades in the market. The number of online brokerage accounts is expected to ride to 10 million by the end of the year.

Nasdaq volume has only gone up 9.2%; overall volume 6.4%. Internet stock volume has gone up 22%.
