ZP I do not know the reason for the NT/Win98 install on the KOT. Spots may have indicated somewhere along the way. It probably has something to do with being able to access the primary NT install(only NT can see NTFS). Right..Spots stated purpose of a backup NT on the KOT drive is to service/repair the primary NT install. It's also there as another sledge hammer if needed in lieu of a reinstall of the primary NT. If the end result is a KOT primary with an NT/Win98 dual boot option then IMO you should clone that package. Seems installing the Backup NT into another primary partition would also be acceptable. That way one could backup w98 separately and alone to the end of the main drive (ide 1). Accessing either NT or 98 would involve switching active status in PM or other. In stead of the dual boot accessability. I'm seriously considering doing that to avoid having a third copy of NT to get confused with. Also seems to me problem prone having two copies of the same OS on the same drive. Good luck with those vid & scsi card problems.... Clarence
