I'm also wondering this. The distribution did not show up on my 1099 form from my broker for taxes, so I'm thinking this is going to go against 1999 taxes (despite what the prospectus says)?

I'm saving the prospectus to sort this out at some future date, but this sure is a pain for no more than I have.
