Don't know how valid this is folks....but I grabbed it off the Yahoo thread... View and conclude at your own risk.

I just found out on the job that SBC (Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell, Nevada Bell, and SNET and Cellular One and eventually AIT)has decided to avoid the Newbridge ATM switch offering. Instead, they are going to go with the Cascade/Ascend/Lucent ATM switch. Were talking hundreds of units here, and the financial loss will take NN down to single digits within a few weeks.
