Zora - There are many good traders that do not use level II. Jenna doesn't care for level II either.

I don't think you can scalp trade effectively without level II but level II does not offer enough good information to position trade with it. The only thing level II really offers is the ability to see "potential" support areas or break points. Additionally, you can see who is on the bid/ask. Most do not even know how to read level II effectively, and sitting on the bid/ask can faked by the majors.

I don't argue some of the good things that level II can offer but I, I am quite happy with my results thus far using market movements, common sense, an ear to the ground, and a close eye on the volume and uptick/downtick patterns. I have gotten to the point where usually I can just "feel" the entry point. I am wrong often, but so are many that use level II. I also don't scalp much...I prefer to position trade.

But again, if you plan to scalp trade, I would highly recommend it and would not scalp trade without it.

Good luck
