I'm here, waiting patiently (?) for the news :), also, another rumor... They are saying on daytraders.com, that Disney is buying GBFE for $375million, Here is the original message: "Internal confidential email form Disney insider fell into some hands, the document details an offer for Golden Books of $375MM and assumption of debt of $300MM. Price as of tip: $1.62 Target Price: $5.00 Time Frame: Short BUY Posted on Thursday - Feb 4, 1999 at 12:05:51 by MGAB Reliability : Unknown " A buyout or deal is probably in the works, but I DOUBT that an e-mail "slipped" out. GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK! At $375m, that's about $13.39 per share, huh? Can't be. If they were to pay off the $300m debt, and use $75m to buy GBFE, that would be around $2.68 a share. Can anyone elaborate on this? Waiting for the REAL news release...
