Can't have it both way"... ---- No, I don't think Intel had to be fair. I probably would have done the same thing. The big difference was that AMD had to execute perfectly to catch Intel in the MHz race and all Intel had to do was change the clock muliplier on the Celeron because we already knew it would run at 400 and more. So when you figure the odds of a flawless ramp to 450 vs just changing the multiplier...guess what.
