<The big difference was that AMD had to execute perfectly to catch Intel in the MHz race and all Intel had to do was change the clock muliplier on the Celeron because we already knew it would run at 400 and more.> And of course, Intel had this luxury because God (or the other guy) decided that Intel chips should be allowed to run faster than AMD's. Perhaps this is an admission on your part that AMD was further behind Intel in the speed race than you thought.
