Thanks very much for your prompt help, Michel. This CMO formula seems to be exactly what I wanted. A friend and I had been discussing the various uses of the CMO indicator, via e-mail, and it looks like my recent membership in Silicon Investor is already paying dividends!

(BTW, Richard Estes' tips are especially useful and illuminating.)

I hope in due course my own MS skills improve, so that I can also help others.
