AMD's LOSSES translate to GAINS for Intel

That is not true until AMD goes out of business.

I spent the morning selling PUTS on Intel - and the drop in Intel drove up the price of the PUTS

If you had bought the puts I would understand your enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the price went up after you sold them. I'll assume you made a typo.
